For over 130 years we’ve been operating in Australia and making glass for more than 75 of those years. In that time we’ve helped shape the way Australians think about glass, from being just a functional building product, to something that adds value to our homes and our lives.
We have built our business around celebrating glass with passion. Why? Because we know that natural light creates healthier, happier and more connected spaces. This excites and inspires us, and we want to share it with the world.
At Viridian, we are part of the whole glass process. From manufacturing the material through to installing and watching our glass come to life. Which is why our love of glass flows through everything we do.
Today, we are the largest glass supplier and only manufacturer in Australia. We continue our passion for glass by leading the industry for quality and innovation. Our vision? To help people use glass in extraordinary ways in the places we live, work and play.
CommandeX - SecureView
Prior to our launch in 2006 we spent considerable time designing and testing patents to come with the system we sell today. SecureView (now called SecureView Eclipx) was an instant hit across the country due to the ease of manufacture and the use of higher quality materials for a competitive price.
Starting off as a small family business in Sydney and Brisbane, and largely through word of mouth, we now number over 200 licensees across Australia all committed to providing quality products and service to our clients. CommandeX is proudly a 100% Australian owned company and in 2011 we were recognised as one of BRW magazines fastest growing companies in Australia, this reflected the hard work the whole team had put in and that the products were seen by consumers as providing the winning edge.
Xceed, our perforated aluminium security screen, was added to our range in 2013. While providing full security it’s aimed at the budget buyer not wanting to compromise on security or aesthetics by resorting to ugly diamond grille barrier screens.
Our future is looking bright as we continue to grow, with more affordable, quality products in the pipeline.
As Australia's largest timber door manufacturer, Corinthian has taken its famous brand around the world, securing an international reputation for quality, innovation and design. Corinthian is now part of the JELD-WEN family, the world's largest supplier of timber doors and windows.
Established in 1942, Corinthian has showrooms and manufacturing facilities in all mainland Australian State capitals. Its major manufacturing facility occupies a 4.5 hectare site at St Marys in Sydney's west.
Corinthian has worked hard and long, since its foundation in 1942, to establish a reputation as a company with total commitment to customer service. This is a reputation Corinthian guards jealously.
These key words are impressed on every employee, with the result that Corinthian customers know they can rely on prompt delivery, total reliability and consistent quality.
A key factor in the Corinthian success story has been the company's insistence on maintaining full control of all stages in bringing doors to the market, from the purchase of raw materials to timber processing and on through to final production.
In creating outstanding products with the beauty of natural timbers, Corinthian is very mindful to ensure that environmental concerns are being met. As such, Corinthian only sources timber from countries that practice responsible forest management.
Every door bearing the Corinthian name continues a long established tradition of real value for money.
At the risk of being described as biased, one of the tenets that we at Ullrich Aluminium work to, is that the aluminium age is now upon us. The 21st century will see the fruition of the development of this remarkable product. The stone age, the bronze age, the iron age, the era of steel, and now aluminium will supplant them all!
In our own way, we will have been part of this evolution. Already we have been privileged enough to be involved in the development of an extruded aluminium engine, and this is simply one of the many new technology and development projects that we are assisting on.
Improvements in aluminium metallurgy, quality, and finish promise to revolutionise the properties of this, already versatile, product and it would be fair to say that within our organisation we consider ourselves to be among the advance guard of a new technology. From our engineers building water towers and boats in their spare time, to our draughting personnel using CAD tools to design new profiles in extrusions, we believe that our product is still in its infancy, still exciting, and a sunrise industry if ever there was one.
